The Paint Creek Boys will be holding forth at the Rochester Hills Public Library, 500 Olde Towe Rd, Rochester, Michigan on November 9th from 2 to 3:30. The details are on our calendar. Free concert, you all get out and support bluegrass in Southeast Michigan!

Meeting

SMBMA is meeting on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at KC Campground, 14048 Sherman Road – Milan, MI 48160. Meeting at 5, potluck and jam following. Mark Gaynier is the chef, hot dogs and sloppy joes will be provided and a donation accepted to defray costs. Thanks, Mark!

An Idea is Born

On July 16, 2014 nine individuals met for lunch. It was decided that an organization was needed to boost the presence of bluegrass music in Southeast Michigan. We rolled up our sleeves were soon joined by over 75 people who also believe that together we can preserve and promote the presence of bluegrass music in our area. Two additional organizationial meetings have been held as of September, 2014. We are rolling and hope you will join our efforts.
